MEDIP works on Windows7 64bit or higher operating system and graphics card supporting GPU.
MEDIP stands for Segmentation Technologies for the Medical Imagery, which is a software to represent human anatomy for clinical analysis and medical intervention. MEDIP supports all DICOM files (CT, MRI, etc) and converts sequential 2D modular medical images into a 3D model that also can be exported as a Standard Tessellation Language (STL) files or others (OBJ, 3MF, VRML, etc.).
The MEDIP UI is optimized for a medical environment. Users can segment and analyze a targeted organ with simple commands.
MEDIP is featured with advanced algorithms, one of which is noise reduction to enhance not only the resolution of a medical image also the segmentation result.
After segmentation through MEDIP, the DICOM files can be exported in a raw file format, allowing anatomical annotations of an ROI. Medical IP uses this ground truth data set to develop one-click organ segmentation features.
Equipped with proper VR headset and controllers, MEDIP provides instant VR experience. The VR session enables the user to intuitively and realistically view and navigate the inside of a patient’s body.
MEDIP analyzes the measurements and texture of a complicated medical image by quantifying the texture specifications of segmentation results, which can’t be obtained by observation. Medical IP has published more than 40 SCI papers on biomarker analysis of images from CT/MRI scan.
